We brought a heart to the heart of Kozhikode.
How do you make an entire city stop and think about its heart?By turning Kozhikode Beach into a canvas for a larger-than-life heart that brought healthcare awareness into public conversation.
Description
Aster MIMS Calicut is a leading multispecialty hospital in Kerala, committed to advancing healthcare through medical expertise, innovation and community engagement. For World Heart Day 2026, the hospital set out to take cardiac awareness beyond conventional hospital campaigns and create a meaningful connection with the people of Kozhikode. We conceptualised Hridayatheeram, an integrated awareness campaign built around a monumental anatomical heart sculpture at Kozhikode Beach. The installation became the centrepiece of a larger public experience involving a heart-health walkathon, medical awareness sessions, community engagement and an India Book of Records achievement. From campaign concept and visual identity to event branding, activation planning and execution, we developed an experience designed to capture public attention and extend its impact through digital storytelling and earned media. Across 20 video posts documented in the supplied campaign screenshots, the activity generated over 6 million combined displayed views, supported by widespread public engagement and media coverage.

THE CHALLENGEMaking heart health impossible to ignore.
Description
World Heart Day is an important occasion for healthcare institutions, but conventional awareness campaigns often struggle to move beyond familiar messages and promotional content. For Aster MIMS Calicut, the opportunity was to create something people wouldn't just see, but experience, engage with and remember. The challenge was to translate a serious healthcare subject into a public experience without losing its credibility or purpose. We needed an idea that could bring people together, attract organic attention and make heart health a conversation beyond hospital walls.

THE IDEAA heart at the heart of Kozhikode.
Description
Kozhikode Beach is more than a public space. It is a place where the city comes together. We saw an opportunity to turn this familiar landscape into an unexpected medium for healthcare communication. Our idea was simple: create a giant anatomical heart on the beach. Not a conventional heart symbol, but a realistic representation of the human heart — something intriguing enough to make people stop, come closer, ask questions and share the experience. The scale would create curiosity. The location would invite participation. And the message would connect the spectacle to something that matters to everyone. One heart. One beach. An entire city watching.
